Over the years I have seen many ways that businesses use Telemarketing as a marketing and sales tool. Some are powerful and get truly great results. Many though leave a lot to be desired.

The key element I saw missing over and over again, was people.

Well trained people, who understand the core of what they are doing by making a Telemarketing Call, who are happy in their work environment and given great support – will in turn give great Telemarketing results.

So, after 12 years working with telemarketing and sales teams, I felt that it was time business owners and managers had some practical “How to” advice that is easy to read, and gives you a simple action plan to put into practice.

I was first introduced to the concept of Telemarketing in 1997 when I started working for a large Direct Sales Organization as a Sales Consultant. I opened my own Sales Business a year later in a country town in NSW, Australia. When my newly hired Telemarketing Manger quit after only a few days, I was thrown in the deep end!

I had a good knowledge of Sales processes by then, but the ins and outs of running a telemarketing room were totally foreign to me. So, I did what anyone in my situation would do. I got on the phone. I called everyone I could find who was running a successful telemarketing business and I asked them a Zillion questions. I got on the phone myself so that I knew what life as one of my telemarketers was like, I read books, I went to seminars and then I put everything I was learning into practice and onto paper.

I enjoy the telemarketing process, the psychology of a sale and especially the people in the telemarketing industry so much, that I have remained here for 12 years so far. I am proud to be known as an expert in my specific field and have relished helping other businesses to get the type of results I get. I have run multi-million dollar sales companies and I know that Telemarketing is a vital part of any sales strategy in today’s marketplace.

In between running my own Sales and Tele-Sales businesses I have consulted to many different types of companies and individuals.

At Top Telemarketing Tips we run training courses in-house and offer external Consulting for Telemarketers, Telemarketing Managers, Business Owners, Sales People, Network Marketers and anyone wanting to increase their sales through telemarketing.

We have recruited, interviewed, trained and motivated literally thousands upon thousands of telemarketers and have extensively trained Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders and business owners in this field.

I am a NLP Master Practioner, Certified Life Coach and Telemarketing and Direct Sales Expert. Combining those skills has allowed me to train thousands to success!!
