Telemarketing Job Hours
I always have telemarketers in for a maximum of 4- 6 hours a day.
I know this may not seem like much, but due to the type of work Telemarketing is, I have found that it is a rare person who can give their all for 8 hours a day.
The time of day of most shifts depend largely on the type of business and on the ideal client they want to talk to.
Telemarketing Hours for Business:
Normally any time during business hours. Often businesses will two shifts of telemarketers each week day of 4 – 6 hours per shift.
Telemarketing Hours for Residential:
4 – 8pm Monday to Friday and Saturday Morning are average times for these types of Call Centres to operate.
In NSW Australia (where I do most of my work) the hours you can tele-market ( according to regulations set by The Department of Fair Trading) are; Monday – Friday 9am – 8pm Saturday 9am -5pm Sunday and Public Holidays NO
Please look up the appropriate hours in your state or country if necessary, but when going for a job with a company, they will have taken care of the legal requirements themselves.
